This is a formula built entirely around one plant, given four different ways to reach the body.

Cottonwood forms the heart of this oil, gathered at the first crack of spring when its golden resin is at its peak, infused separately into four different oils, each chosen for what it uniquely carries into the body. The resin itself brings pain-relieving salicylates, antimicrobial properties, and a deeply balsamic warmth unlike anything else in the plant world.

Sesame, called the king of oils in Ayurvedic tradition, penetrates deeply, warms tissue, and softens what has gone cold and rigid. Castor drives everything deeper, pulling the cottonwood resin into layers the skin rarely receives, while olive nourishes steadily and sunflower lightens the blend, keeping it absorbable and alive.

Product Information

Yield is the richest, most penetrating oil in the body oil collection. The castor gives it a slightly thicker texture than Restore or Unfurl, and it absorbs more slowly, which is the point. This is an oil that wants time on the skin. The aroma is deeply resinous and balsamic, entirely from the cottonwood, warm and ancient and grounding. There is nothing added. What you smell is the plant.

Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Best enjoyed within 6 months for full vibrancy.

how to use

Warm a generous amount between your palms before applying. Massage slowly and deliberately into joints, areas of chronic tension, or anywhere the body is asking for deeper attention. Let it absorb fully before dressing. For best results, apply after a warm bath or shower when the skin is open and receptive, or warm the oil slightly before use to deepen its penetration. This is an oil that rewards slowness.
