Yield is built entirely around one plant. Cottonwood buds, gathered at the first crack of spring when their golden resin is at its peak, infused separately into four different oils, each chosen for what it uniquely carries into the body. This is not a formula made quickly. It is a formula made with intention.

Sesame has been called the king of oils in Ayurvedic tradition for centuries. It penetrates deeply, warms tissue, supports joints and nerves, and softens what has gone cold and rigid. Castor drives everything deeper, pulling the cottonwood resin and the warmth of the other oils into layers the skin rarely receives. Olive, steady and nourishing, supports the skin throughout. Sunflower lightens the blend just enough to keep it moving, absorbable, and alive.

The cottonwood itself brings pain-relieving salicylates, antimicrobial resin, and a deeply balsamic warmth that is unlike anything else in the plant world. Four infusions. One plant. Four different expressions of what that plant can do when given the right medium to work through.

Product Information

Yield is the richest, most penetrating oil in the body oil collection. The castor gives it a slightly thicker texture than Restore or Unfurl, and it absorbs more slowly, which is the point. This is an oil that wants time on the skin. The aroma is deeply resinous and balsamic, entirely from the cottonwood, warm and ancient and grounding. There is nothing added. What you smell is the plant.

Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Best enjoyed within 6 months for full vibrancy.

how to use

Warm a generous amount between your palms before applying. Massage slowly and deliberately into joints, areas of chronic tension, or anywhere the body is asking for deeper attention. Let it absorb fully before dressing. For best results, apply after a warm bath or shower when the skin is open and receptive, or warm the oil slightly before use to deepen its penetration. This is an oil that rewards slowness.
